Hoffer Flow Controls has been designing and manufacturing turbine flow meters for use on liquids, gases and slurry service in the oil & gas market for many years.  Our flow meters are commonly used in this industry by service companies for fracturing the well at operating pressures of 15,000 PSI using water, CO2 and other additives at very high pressures.

Once the additional fractures have been created in the wellhead, it is common for these customers to inject sand or cement slurries into the wellhead to support the fractures that have been created. The Wing Nut Series of flow meters are available in meter sizes from 1” through 4” and support liquid flow rates from 4 to 1,500 GPM.  In addition to this industry using liquids at high pressures to create additional fractures in the wellhead, some customers use gaseous nitrogen which can also be measured by the Hoffer Wing Nut Series of flow meters.  Hoffer is the only supplier in the world offering a 4” size wing nut flow meter for this industry.  Challenging or simple flow applications, we handle them all.
